Jameliah was raised in an household with an abusive father. As a young adult, she suffered through domestic violence in unhealthy relationships, which led her to fight back with rage. Over time, she learned to recognize her triggers, heal her wounds, and find more peaceful ways to “fight back.” In this poignant and powerful conversation, Jameliah empowers her audience to release their rage and acknowledge their emotions in a healthy manner.

Resuscitate the Woman: Find confidence in your true self.

As we reach our forties and fifties, many of us realize we don’t have confidence like we used to. Jameliah found this to be true for herself; she had taken a fight or flight approach to life. As she matured and grew through her experiences, however, she learned to face herself and her past pain. Jameliah hopes to empower others to find their confidence and “resuscitate the women” inside of them.

From Domestic Abuse Survivor to Thriver: Transform pain into strength.

As a child abuse and domestic abuse survivor, Jameliah shares her first-person perspective in an informative and inspirational way. Her goal is to empower other women to be fearless no matter what demons they’ve been forced to face, to be transparent with themselves, and to recognize their unique situations as baselines for strength, not weakness. In sharing her story of battling not only her abusers but also her abusive self, Jameliah hopes to show that true risk-taking challenges both what you’ve fought and how you’ve fought it.
